Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Photo Yearbook at photoyearbook.app. By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

What Photo Yearbook Does

Photo Yearbook is a free tool that runs in your web browser. It reads the photos you choose, arranges them into views such as a film roll or a photo book, and lets you export the result as PNG or PDF files. There is no account to create and nothing to pay for.

Your Photos and Your Work

• Your photos and everything you make with them stay on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to them.
• You keep all rights to your photos, captions and exported files. You grant us no rights to them.
• Your work is saved in your browser's storage, which your browser or device may clear. Download the PDF or a backup of your project to keep a copy. We cannot recover work that has been cleared from your browser.
• Only use photos that you have the right to use.

Sample Photos

Some sample collections on the site use photographs by other people under Creative Commons licenses, credited on the photo credits page. Those photos are for trying the tool; exports are made only from your own photos.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the site in any way that breaks applicable law
• Interfere with the site or with anyone else's use of it
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our servers or networks
• Use the site to distribute malware or other harmful code

Our Content

The site's design, text, code and illustrations are owned by us or used under their own licenses, and are protected by copyright and other laws. Open-source components keep their own licenses.

No Warranty

Photo Yearbook is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that exported files will meet the requirements of any particular printing service. Check your files before printing.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of photos or work, arising from your use of or inability to use the site.

Changes

We may update these Terms, for example if we add features such as accounts or cloud saving. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new date.
